Mag. Art. Lili Ploskova lives and works in Vienna as an accessories designer. She studied Painting and Textile followed by Graphics and Advertising at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. After graduating with an MA Diploma of Distinction in 2002, she went on to win the University´s career support for individual entrepreneurs in the field of applied arts. Shortly thereafter she set up her first studio and implemented a number of individual fashion projects in Vienna. This was followed by participation at the Viennese Fashion Week, Blickfang Fair, Vienna Design Week and Modepalast. In the last few years she worked on projects for Swarovski Crystal Components, MAK Design Shop (Applied Art Museum Vienna) Gallery V&V and Gina Drewes Couture. Since 2007 she designs two accessories collections a year comprised of scarves, bags, gloves, belts or knitwear – all bearing the label LILA PIX VIENNA. The focus is on exceptional style, rare colour combinations, functionality and designs with distinctive flavour. LILA PIX uses exclusively high quality materials with a penchant for natural silk and genuine leather.
The LILA PIX stoles and scarves are made of precious raw silk, woven and coloured with natural pigments in India, all still by hand. The self developed fabric patterns are transferred on the material with a screen-printing technique. The complete manufacturing: sewing, mixing the colors, printing, washing and crushing is made by hand from the artist herself. Each piece from a series has small differences and it´s own living history. All stoles and scarves are produced in a very limited edition at the LILA PIX studio in Vienna.
